C.R.A.F.T - Moving

The challenge at CRAFT this week is a very good one and had got me thinking.... The challenge is to have a moving ellement on your card so I have attacked my little wild thing bird to some accetate so that he is flying infront of the card. This is my first time taking part in this challenge and it has been a lot of fun working out what I was going to do.

The images of the litle "birds" and the sentiment "soar high" are from the greetings farm "wild things" set and have been coloured with a mix of pro markers and sakura pens to give them a little sparkle the trees are from magnolia and is one tree cut in half which has again been coloured with pro markers.

Daring cardmaker - Take 5

Over at Daring card maker the challenge is to use 5 of something like 5 gems or brads or papers etc. I have gone for 5 cakes :) Yumm! These lovely cakes are from my new Greetings Farm Stamp set called "Suzie Surprise" as is the sentiment. I have coloured my cakes with promarkers then used tiny gems to look like sparkly sprinkles on the top of them. The paper is from papermania's retro flowers.

Secret crafter - Turquoise, pink and a touch of brown

This is a great colour combo to play with. I have used the greeetings farm cup of stuff stamps for the sentiment and image and coloured my mouse with promarkers and then added the tiny gem to the cup. The papers are again from Bearly mines designer extreme vol. 1 disc

Creative card crew - Flowers

For this card I have again used papers from Bearly mine's designer extreme vol.1 disc and the image is from the greetings farm wild sprouts collection. I have coloured her with promarkers and sakura stardust pens. The sentiment is also from the greetings farm while the ribbon, buttons and flowers are from my stash.

Club Anya - I wanna be like Caz

Well this was a true challenge to try and live up to Caz's very high standard but it has been fun. I have tried to use similar colours and follow roughly where she has put the swirls of gems and turned her flower into a fish :). I have used Mermaid Anya and coloured her with promarkers then added gems to her hair and the fish is from the greetings farm down by the pond and I have coloured him with sakura stardust and gel pens. The sentiment is also from the down by the pond set and I have curved it slightly so that it printed kind of round the edge of the circle again to try and match the way the sentiment was on Caz's card.
For the swirls I did not have any of the swirls of gems so thoght I would try something new and had my first go at Quilling. The backing paper I chose again to try and match Caz and is from Bearly mines designer extreme vol 1.

One stop craft - For the boys

I was asked to make a card for my friends Dad with a John Deer tractor on it for fathersday so this challenge was just the inspiration I needed. You can't really tell from the pic but the tractor is decoupaged so it stand out more. The papers are from bearly mines designer extreme vol 1 cd. The peel offs and gems are from my stash.

Paper take weekly - Scrap this

This weeks challenge over at paper take is to use up some of those scraps that we all have. Well I have a huge box of scraps and need to start using them more so I had to take the chance to have a go. I have used some scraps of different papers from my scrap box and cut them into strips for for a bit of iris folding. I have not really done iris folding but I have these cut out card blanks and thought it would work well with them so gave it a go. The cute fairy is from the greetings farm and I have coloured her with a mix of pro markers and sakura pens for a touch of sparkle. Again I have put her on some accetate so she is flying around the tree.

P is for Pearls

This week over at ABC P is for pearls I have used this super cute geisha Anya and coloured her with pro markers and decoupaged her so she is more 3D and added a pearl to the flower in her hair. The papers are from paper mania's ivory black set and the sentiment is from another greetings farm stamp set called "vintage birds". I have also added pearls to the center of the flowers on the right for a bit more sparkle.

Polly craft - Monotone and Digital tuesday

I think this card fits for digital tuesdays wedding theme and for polly crafts monotone challenge. I have used two of the polly craft topper. I love the backing paper and think it is papermania but I can not remember which set (sorry). I love these toppers they make such fantastic cards I must use them more I have been a bit hooked on my stamps recently lol

Cute card Thursday - A touch of bling

For this card I have used the gorgeous couple from the greetings farm wedding toppers set and coloured them with a mix of pro markers and sakura pens. The sentiment is from another greetings farm set "For someone". The paper is from paper mania's antique cream set and then I have layered it on some cream pealescent paper. The bling is from the little hearts in the corners and the shiney peel offs.

Stamp with fun - #8

This weeks challenge was a sketch and I have had a lot of fun with it. I have used a miss Anya stamp and coloured her with pro markers. The papers are from paper mania's retro flowers and the sentiment is from another greetings farm set "For someone". The red paper I have embossed with a cuttle bug embossing folder to give it some texture.

Passion for pro markers - First challenge!!

Wow pasion for pro markers is starting with a bang they have a huge prize for one lucky winner if you have not had a look head over there now and have a go the link is in the challenge bit on my side bar.

For my card I have used a Dustin Pike image that as soon as I saw I just had to have. The papers are a mix of papermania's retro flowers and the spotty one is from bearly mines designers extreme vol 1. cd. Now for the important bit I have coulred my image witht the following pro markers:

Creative card crew - Minimal

Ok this was a very hard challenge for me, just one paper! I have had a play with my wild sprouts from the greetings farm here I have used 2 stamps. The body is from Annika but the head is from Reeta (it sound so mean to say it like that but I think it works). They have been coloured with promarkers and then I added the little gem to the bow in her hair. The one paper I used is from designers extreme vol 1. The sentiment is from another greetings farm set called rock the farm.

Charisma cardz - A star is born

The challenge this week was to include stars on your card. I have used this cute little panda from the greetings farm panda friends set and coloured him with promarkers. I have then set him on foam pads so he stands out a bit more. The stary paper is from designeers extreme vol 1.

Club Anya - Couture

Well it did not turn out quite how it is in my head so may have to give it another go. But I have had great fun doing this one. I first took the body from miss Anya with all the shopping bags, I cut her bags away and just cut round what I imagined her body would look like under the clothes to give me my body shape and turned it over so I did not have all her clothes showing through. Then I stuck some petals around her bottom half for a skirt effect and added pink micro beads for the bodice. Then i drew an outline around it so it would like like it fit with the head that I cut from Miss Anya with her handbag. I thought I should try and change her a bit too so have lost one of her pig tails.

Put on your dancing shoes

Club Anya are having a pop challenge and it is to make a card about dance! This was so much fun I have been itching to use this image since I got it a while ago and this gave me the perfect chance. I have coloured this duo with pro markers and then used PVA glue to build up the heart and covered it in funky glittery flock! The sentiment I have made and says "you rock my world" The papers are from papermania's Ivory black set.

Papertake weekly - Dawny's sketch

Dawny has come up with another great sketch for this weeks competition. I have used my new Fireman Ian stamp and coloured him with a mixture of promarkers and sakura stardust pens. I have hen decoupaged him so he is a bit more 3d. All the papers are from Bearly mines Designer extreme vol.1 cd. The sentiment I have made with my Dymo and it says My hero.

Cute Card Thursday - Happy mail

I just love this little Whiff of joy mouse and it make me smile evreytime I see it so I thought it would be perfect for this challenge. I have coloured him with pro markers. The stars paper is from bearly mines designers extreme vol.1 cd and the sky paper is from my stash as are the peel offs.
