Club Anya and friends - Gettin' sketchy

I have used another sketch for this card this time from Club Anya And Friends. I loved using this sketch and am sure I will be using it again. I had an order from a friend at work for a card for her Goddaughter's 18th so thought I would combine the 2. I have used this super cute digi Dressy Ebony from The Greetings Farm. I have coloured her with promarkers and added some pearls to the flower in her hair. The backing paper is again from crafters companion this time the oriental discs.

Cards for men

This time over at cards for men there is a brilliant sketch to follow. I have used this cute little spaceman from Crafters companion guy's cd and the paper is also from there. Sorry the picture is terrible I could not get the light right. The sentiment is just a silver peel off that says happy birthday and the spaceman is decoupaged.

Passion for promarkers and pile it on

Ok I know this is not much of a pile for but I hope it still counts as it is more than one challenge when I add it to Passion for Promarkers all creatures great and small challenge. My creature is this stunning mermaid Ching-Chou kuik's September Rhythm from Crafts and me I have coloured her in summery coloured promakres as Pile it on want to see no more winter colours and added touches of sparkle with my sakura stardust pens. The flowers brads and pearls are from my stash and the papers are from crafters companion Oriental discs and Funky hand (I think it was their too funky disc but I printed it a while ago).

Cute card Thursday spots and dots and Daring card maker amethyst

I have used another of the gorgeous Sweetpea stamps that I got from Crafts and me for this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge which is to include spots and dots in your card. I am also entering this for Daring Cardmakers challenge, they want you to use the colour Amethyst. I have embossed the black card I have put behind the image with my cuttlebug swiss dot folder and have left the rest of the card quite plane as I think this Ching-Chou kuik's Dance of Butterfly stamp says it all. I have coloured her with a mix of promarkers and sakura stardust pens so she sparkles. I mounted her on some embossed gold then black card and used foam pads to make it stand out a bit more.

Another Valentines card

Quixotic Paperie Challenge Blog wants us to make a valentines card I was lucky nought to get this super cute stamp from ebay the other day secondhand and it was great to colour. The backing paper is from Lili of the valley and I have coloured the image with my promarkers. The pearl hearts and peel offs are from my stash.

Lili of the valley - Valentines

There are a lot of Valentines challenges around at the moment but that is OK as I don't think you can ever get too much of love and romance :D Over at Lilli of the valley they are looking for you to make a valentines card so I have used this adorable image from Lili of the Valley that is pre coloured and just kept it very simple making my own sentiment with peel off letters from my stash. The patterned card blank is from papermania.

Polly craft - Things with Wings and Creative craft crew

OK so I am officially hooked on these beautiful stamps from Sweet pea. This is yet another card with the stunning ching-chou kuik's Love is Gone stamp that I got from Crafts and me (my new fav craft online store thanks Teresa). She is just perfect for this weeks challenge at Polly Craft as they want to see things with wings and it also works for this weeks challenge set by the Creative Craft Crew which is a valentines theme. This time I have gone for a more subtle girly colour combo with the pastel pink and green. I have coloured her with a mix of promarkers and sakura stardust pens so she sparkles and mounted her on foam pads. The stamp behind her with I love you in the shape of a heart was in a bulk lot I got from ebay so I am sad to say I can not tell you where it is from. Then I have chalked round the edge of it with sparkly chalks from papermania. To finish it off I added the 2 rows of card candy's from craft work cards then added the peel offs .

Do you believe?

I am so excited! As you may already know the lovely Amy Young asked me to be her first Sweet November Guest designer for her amazing Feb release which you can now get your hands on. One of the places you can find these sweet stamps is Quixotic Paperie and this week over on their
Challenge Blog they are looking for all of you that believe in fairy's to show them off as they are celebrating the sweet November range. I have got to be a GDT for this challenge only and show off some more of Amy's creations.
For this card I have used papers from funky fairy and my fairy of choice is Tangle Goblinshimmer I have coloured her with promarkers and sakura gel and stardust pens.

Stampin' for the weekend is all loved up

What a brilliant response we had to our last challenge everyone's takes on Fiona's sketch were so different I had a great time blog hopping around and looking at them all :D
This time we are feeling the love and want to see some valentine or love inspired projects. There is a wealth of inspiration from the DT and this week we have an amazing GDT Shirley and if you haven't seen her blog before make sure you click the link and check her out.

The prise up for grabs is a massive $25 gift voucher from the brilliant Simon Says Stamp

For my card I have used this super cute little guy from Whiff of joy I was lucky enough to get him for Christmas (but if you are looking to get it in the UK you should speak to Teresa from Crafts and me as she stocks the WOJ range) and can see that he will be cropping up on a lot of cards. Th paper is from papermania the pearly hearts are from my stash and the sentiment I made on the computer.

Anya ink and Wild Card Wednesday

i had so much fun trying to make this card. Thank you Amy for the challenge of using metal in a card as I have had these metal letters from Papermania for ages and not used them now I want to use them more. Over at Anya Ink they want you to make something without using patterned paper so I have managed to use a few scraps of black card from my scrap box and think it works really well with this red card blank I brought for making Christmas cards. The image is digi dressy Michael I have coloured him with promarkers and mounted him on foam pads so he stands out.

Love is in the air and new competition alert!

Well with Valentines day just round the corner and with my love of these new sweet pea stamps I am really in a happy mood at the moment. I am going to be putting a couple of cards in this one post so sorry for the length of it, here we go.

This first card I am entering into 3 challenges and one I have just found out about it is run by Teresa from Crafts and me (Where I have got the sweetpea stamps from) and she want you to email or mail her a valentines themed card the only thing you have to have done to enter is to have brought something from the shop (it doesn't have to be used on the card). The prise is a huge £20 voucher to spend in store! Just thing how many new sweetpea stamps you could get with that!!
It is also for Papertake Weekly and I have used their brilliant sketch for the layout.
Last but by no means least this also qualifies for Crafty cardmakers as they want to see hearts and romance. I have used a a backing paper that is covered in hearts from papermania and little pearly hearts as well as the hearts on the image.
As normal I have coloured this beauty with my promakres and sakura stardust pens to give her a touch of sparkle.

This second card is for 2 challenges they are A spoon full of Sugar who just wants you to show your style as they are having a free style week, and Sophisticat and they would like to see a card with a miss you, mum or tribute card in memory of Lisa's mum. I have gone for the miss you theme. The image is another Sweet pea design and I have again coloured her with promarkers and sakura stardust pens. The paper is from crafters companion.

Crafty cat & My time to craft

This card is for My Time to craft who want to see an elegant rose and Crafty catz want you to have a love theme. I have used another of this beautiful images from Sweet pea stamps that I got from the brilliant Crafts and me. This lovely rose fairy is called Love is gone. I have coloured her with a mix of promarkers and sakura stardust pens so she sparkles. The sentiment is from Dove craft and the gems are from my stash.

Passion for promarkers and my first Sweet Pea card

I am so excited just look at what i got the other day! I have been drooling over these stamps since I first saw them and so when I found that Crafts and me were stocking them here in the UK I just had to buy them. This beautiful mermaid is Ching-Chou kuik's The Serene Night. I have coloured her with my promarkers as follows:
Tail - pastel green
Flowers and edges to her kimono - blossom (the pastel green and this blossom mean it fits for this weeks Passion for Promarkers Challenge)
Skin - vanilla
tree and bird - tan
hair - cool grey 5
leaves - apple
shading on kimono - pastel blue

I am loving colouring these stunning images and can see that I am going to end up with the whole collection :D

The papers I have used are from papermania's oriental spice collection.

The greetings farm CHA relay - day 3

Just look how adorable this little guy is! He is called Toby. Now I know it meant to be a little boy but I think he handles the girly stuff pretty well too and I couldn't resist using this patterned card blank from papermania as my base. The sentiment is from Dovecraft. the embossed gold card is from my stash as are the gem and peel offs. To colour him I have used my promarkers again.

My last sweet November preview

This is my last preview I am sad to say but she is another cutie (like Amy would bring us anything less). I am very proud to introduce to you Sparkle Thistleweed. She is so cute and sassy and just brilliant to colour. I got this bag for Christmas with some smellies in and could not bare to throw it away and when she arrived I knew straight away she would be just perfect to breathe so new life into it. I have covered over the contense list on the back with my verse. This is going to be a little gift for my mum so is stocked with little things she likes smellies and makeup etc. Then I have used the digi version of her so I can flip the image and have her either side of the text. I have as normal for me coloured her with pro markers and then added some sparkle with sakura stardust pens.
If you want to get your hands on this sweetie don't forget she will be available very soon over at All That Scraps and if you want a chance to win her for free make sure you go to Amy Young's blog now as she has some yummy candy up for grabs :D

TGF's CHA Relay -Day 1 and 2

There is another marathon challenge going on over at The Greetings Farm. Well it's a relay really and I am please to say that I think I am throught the worst personally as I should not have a problem doing the rest of the cards to take part as now I am off work for a few days :D

This is the best challenge that the amazing duo of Marie and Jessica have come up with yet they very kindly gave away this super cute Mer Ian (you may still have time to get your hands on him if you pop to the blog) and challenged us to make something with him before 6:00pm CST. For all that managed that and linked to the post today we were sent the lovely Charlotte for free and are further challenged to use her for a creation again to be completed before 6:00pm CST tomorrow (Tuesday). Each new digi has to be used to make a creation with before 6:00pm the next day to recieve the next free digi and if I make it to the end I will have got 5 free digi's how amazing is that!

Well here are my first 2 cards with Mer Ian and Charlotte. I have coloured them both with a mix of pro markers and sakura pens and made both the sntiments on the computer.
The papers from Mer Ian are from crafters companion boys disc and the papers for Charlotte's card are from funky hand.

Calling all fairy fans there is a new beauty in town

This is the stunning Ginger she is due to be released in February from All That Scraps I can not explain to you how badly I wanted this Amy to make her up as a stamp ever since I saw her on her blog HERE So when she landed on my door step I just couldn't wait to get her inked up. The scary thing was that I knew she was on her way and the letter when it arrived had been badly munched by a dog I think from the teeth marks all over it but luckily she had managed to stay out of the way and was safe in one piece :D

You may have seen this first card on Amy's blog as she used it when introducing me as her GDT I have kept it simple to show off the beautiful Ginger. I have coloured her with pro markers and stardust pens so she sparkles and then added glossy accents to her wings and sprinkled some glitter into it before it set so she sparkles even more. The sentiment I typed out on the computer and the paper is from cute companions girls and boys set.

This second card has not quite turned out as well as I planned. But I have used the digi Ginger this time and laid it all out on the computer before I printed it out. The papers and elements are from The Greetings Farm Ever Glen set. I have again coloured her with a mix of pro markers and sakura stardust pens and added glitter and glossy accents to her wings. I wanted to decorate the envelope as well as I feel that I never make the interesting enough.

My first sneek peek as GDT for Sweet November

I am so excited to be able to show you the new releases from the amazing Amy Young that you will be able to get your hands on over at All That Scraps in February. Today I am showing off the super cute Darby and Bumbles.
As soon as I saw these 2 I knew that I wanted to do some thing to highlight the special little bumbles as he is just too sweet so I made this little set of mini 4 x 4 cards. I used the digi image as I could make him a little bit bigger that way. I coloured him with promarkers and then added glossy accents to his wings for a bit of texture and shine :D
The brilliant background paper is a digi one as well from Sweet Blossom Designs "Bee happy" kit.

Then I turned my attentions to the main stamp in the set the delightful Darby. She was just so much fun to colour and is so versatile I can see her with her flower to give being perfect for valentines and mothers day for a start! I have used the proper rubber stamp for this card and coloured her with a mix of promarkers and sakura pens to add some sparkle :D
The paper is from funky fairy and the sentiment is one I typed up on the computer.

If you would like a chance to win this cutie make sure you hop over to Amy Young's Blog so you Can enter her candy and keep checking back as she has more yummy candy planned for the next few days.
