Baby love

I just love these cute Babies from the amazing Mo Manning. I have coloured her with promarkers and then used crumb cake stampin' up marker to ink round the torn edges and to do the faux stitching all around the edges. The dotty back ground I did using blushing bride ink and a stamp from the timeless textures set. The sentiment is from another stampin' up stamp set called suite sayings. The gems pearl hearts and pink card were from my stash.

If you want any of the stampin' up goodies you can grab them in the link bellow. If you want to order but live somewhere they don't ship to just get in touch as I can help to work it out :)

I am entering this card for the following challenges:

Gorgeous new rubbah at Crafts and Me

******Do you fancy a crafty get away? I am arranging one for October this year and there are still spaces. Click HERE for details******

I have one of the brand new beautiful Janna Prosvirina stamps to show you today. She is called Dragonfly and I think she is gorgeous! There are a whole load of beautiful new rubbah stamps coming out next week at the brilliant Crafts and Me and as normal for the first week of the new release newsletter subscribers will get 10% off of them and trust me you will want them all :D
For my card I thought I would try and keep it simple to show her off. I have inked all round the edges of the card in 3 different colours (Pool party, Lucky limeade and then soft suede) Next I stamped the Inkadinkado butterflies out randomly over my inking in soft suede to almost make my own DP.
The stunning image I coloured with the following pro and flex markers....

Skin: Saffron, Vanilla, Ivory
Hair: Gold, Canary, Lemon
Dress: Indigo blue, True blue, Surf blue
Branch: Bunt Sienna, Cinnamon
Dotty background: Meadow green, Cloud blue, Tea green, pastel green

I have then used Marianne D corners 1 dies to just kind of frame the image and glazed her wings so they shine.

I hope you all have a great rest of the weekend and that you all manged to get your hands on the new beauties when they are released.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Crafts 4 Eternity - Wonderful wings
Fairy tale - Things with wings

For the love of letraset

******Do you fancy a crafty get away? I am arranging one for October this year and there are still spaces. Click HERE for details******

Wow it is all change with the weather here again it would seem as it is lovely right now here :D I am a mega promarker fan and have kept a little list of some of my favourite colour combo's and thought it would be great if there was somewhere on line that I could go to look up combo's and get ideas so I have set up a blog to be a bit of a refference for fellow promarker fans called For the love of letraset. I have got a few other people who are adding to it as well and if you would like to be part of it just contact me as the more the merrier :D
This is one of the images I have coloured up a few different ways on the blog she is from Crafts and Me's and called Pink Lightning.

I have coloured her here in the following colours.....
Skin: Saffron, Vanilla, Ivory
Hair: Gold, Canary, Lemon
Tights & wings: Lush green, Chatreuse, Leaf green and for the shadow on the white sections Tea green
Dress: Black, Cool grey 4, Cool grey 3

For the rest of the card I have used First Editions Up,Up and away papers. The border is punched using a Stampin' Up scallop trim border. The sentiment is also from stampin' Up and is from the Outlined occasions set. The gems are from my stash.

For my Nan's Birthday :D

Today it was my Nan's 81st birthday and she loves flowers and her garden even though she struggles to get into it and work in it now so I thought I would go for a floral feel for my card for her. I also got inspired by the colour combo over at Colour create so this is what I ended up with.

I have used a range of Stampin' Up products for this one. The sentiment is from the Happiest Birthday wishes stamp set and I have inked it with concord crush and pear pizzaz write markers so the word birthday is in a different colour :D The main image is from the Simply soft stamp set, stamped in chocolate brown for the outline and I stamped it 3 times without re inking the stamp to get the more fadded effect on the 2 in the background. Then I used The pear pizazz marker to colour the stem before using the second step of the stamp set to fill the colour in for the flower and I used Concord crush ink again for them.
For the matting and layering I used concord crush and pear pizzaz to colour some white card stock so it matches the stamping. Then just to finish it off I used my write markers to do some faux stitching round the edges and added some pearls from my stash.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Colour create - Colour combo (Green, purple and cream)
4 crafty chicks - Flowers

My first time playing at Simply stampin

******Do you fancy a crafty get away? I am arranging one for October this year and there are still spaces. Click HERE for details******

I could no longer resist the temptation to take part in the Simply stampin' challenge I found it a few weeks ago but this is the first time I have managed to get something made for it. I would not normally use these colours so am quite happy that I made this card :D
I think everything apart from the pearls that I have used for this card is from stampin' up. I started by using Wild wasabi ink to stamp the out line of the flower from the simply soft set and then Tangerine Tango ink for the second step of the simply soft stamp to colour the flowers. The ink around the edge is Daffodil delight. The sentiment is from the happiest birthday wishes set. The border is done with the scallop trim border and to finish I drew some faux stitching in wild wasabi using a write marker.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Simply stampin' challenge - Colour combo wild wasabi, Daffodil delight, Tangerine Tango and whisper white
Stampin' for the weekend - Anything goes

If you would like to get any Stampin’ Up products I can order them for you and you only have to pay £1 for postage rather than the normal £4.95. If you want to have a look at the current Stampin' Up catalogues you can see them all HERE
