I'm back :D

Wow I can't believe it has been 2 years since I last crafted properly! I am so rusty its untrue but I am excited to hopefully get back into it all again now :D
I hope you have all been well and are enjoying the summer holidays. I couldn't resist this little Mo Manning cutie. So had to colour him up. You can get him as a digi form from HERE or as a clear stamp from the penny black Fairy sweet stamp set. I coloured him with the following pro markers:
Skin: Vanilla, Ivory and pastel pink
Hair: Umber, Khaki and Almond
Ladybird: Gold, canary and primrose
Nappy: Pine, green and pastel green
Wings: Soft aqua

I also added some star dust stickles and mint green liquid pearls. The paper is an old one I have so many papers and am making it my new mission to try and use what I have got before I get anymore........that may not last that long but I'm going to try :)

We have great prizes up for grabs again..

The first sponsor is Cuddly Buddly
with this amazing prize :D

This is the first month that the the wonderful new DT members are joining us so please drop by their blogs and leave them some love :D

For my card I have used Eline's Huis Clear Stamps Let it Snow EC0133 and Eline's Huis Clear Stamps Jingle Bells EC0132 from Marianne D. I have stamped the main snowflake in versa mark then masked it and stamped over it with the music note stamp. To add even more layers to my stamping I have stamped more snowflakes round the edge. Then I used PanPastel starting with ultramarine blue tint to go over everything then the darker ultramarine blue to go around the egde and pick out the main snowflake. Next I added some gems and Star dust stickles to the middle snowflake so it shines. Finished it off by framing everything with liquid pearls in baby blue and opal white.

********Just in case you haven't seen already there is a new challenge, for my shop, on the way and a chance to win follower candy HERE ********

I made this card for my grandparents as it was there 61st wedding anniversary yesterday. The image is Love you Grandad from Karen's doodles and I have coloured them with promarkers. The paper is from papermania's capsule collection but I have made it sparkle with some gold stickles. I have inked all the edges with antique linen and then vintage photo.  I have used washi tapes from 2 different Marianne D packs along the bottom (Bicycles and Roses) The metallic paper I have used for layering is from DCWV metallic pack. The whole thing is mounted on a 6 x 6 Kraft card. Just to finish it off I have added some lemon liquid pearls around the image.

Just thinking

Happy weekend everyone,
So are you enjoying the olympics? I hope so :D
My card for today is featuring the brilliant new Robin Pushay stamp called Fairy thinking of you. I stamped her in Memento black ink then coloured her with promarkers and added some detail with lemon liquid pearls. I have created my own background for her using a stamp from the Silhouette Grasses stamp set.
The edges have been inked with distress ink squeezed lemon. I have then used the sentiment from Joanna Sheens Up the garden path stamp set. To finish it off I have drawn in a border and dotted some lemon liquid pearls around. I was going for a warm summery feel that I hope I have got.

Huge hugs

Amy xx

New goodies in my shop

I am so happy I got some big deliveries today for the store and they are all now in there ready for you to grab if you want them.
I couldn't resist and have had a bit of a play. Almost everything I have used here is in the shop. I started with a 5x5 card blank I have matted and layered a 13cm x 13cm square of white card on to it. I inked the white card with all 3 of the distress inks in the spring seasonal set I started with the Squeezed Lemonade and mad it go almost to the middle of the card then put on some peacock feather not going quite as far into the centre then finished it off by adding Shaded Lilac around the very edges. Then I stamped the flowers at the bottom and the sentiment in brown ink. They are both from the Silhouette Grasses set. Then I have added some texture with tiny dots of platinum liquid pearl. The butterflies are from Local king rubber stamp and the set is just called Butterflies. I used the squeezed lemonade distress ink again just to give the butterflies a bit of colour and then added some gold stickles so they sparkle. I have used collall all purpose glue to do my matting and layering and I have to say I am so in love with this glue. I use it all the time now I don't think I will ever go back to tape. To attach the butterflies I have used collall silicone glue so they stand away from the card a bit and look more 3D.
