Natalie and Amy's challenge Celebrate and a DT call

At long last i have a couple of cards for you :) ...
For this first one I have used...a cute mermaid from the Kraftin' Kimmies sea jewels set, coloured with Spectrum noirs and with some platinum liquid pearls. The papers are from Marianne D's Scandinavian winter set. The tape that I finished it off with is also from Marianne D.

For card number 2 I used...
Hampton arts crowning moments stamps stamped in Versamark then embossed with wow super fine silver embossing powder. For the back ground I used Versafine smokey gray to stamp kaisercraft texture keys stamp and added distressed effect with a dreamweaver brush and Iced spruce distress ink

And now my last card...

I used the super cute Humphrey Roses are Red coloured with spectrum noirs. The card blank I stamped with Kaisercrafts texture Cherish stamp then used a dreamweaver brush and worn lipstick and then Festive berries distress inks.

For my card I have used the gorgeous Mae Western digi and coloured her with spectrum noir pens and I have used gold metallic promarker for her earrings and the sheriff badge. Lollipop:JG6, JG1, CG3 and EB2 for the stick.

The paper is from Dovecrafts Garden party set and the beautiful tape is from Marianne D's music set. The gems are from my stash and the sentiment is from another Kraftin' Kimmie set called Lulu and friends. I have then doodled round the edges as you might have noticed I like doing that. So there a quite a few favourites in there from the stamps and the spectrums I coloured her with to the papers and the gems and then the doodling and finished off with the clean and simple feel.

For my card I have used one of the sexy new releases. This is On Vixen I have coloured her with the following Spectrum Noirs...

I have put her on the card using silicone so she stands out. The stamped border is done is versa fine smokey gray and the stamp was personal impressions Christmas border. The paper is from Core'dinations kraft core and I embossed it with So Trendy M-bossibilities folder. For the sentiment I have used Pesonal impressions Big Sentiments and then die cut one of the frames from Spellbinders Fleur de lis Accents that I have added a touch of gold to with a gold metallic promarker.

I just love these little cuties and had great fun playing with them colouring them in when at the craft weekend a couple of weeks ago. This is the first chance I have ahd to get them on here so here goes....

First is Sky I have coloured her with spectrum noir pens but I forgot to write down which ones sorry.

The paper is from Marianne Designs Sweet Summer pack. The sentiment is from Personal Impressions Big sentiments and the image itself has been cut out using Spellbinders Ovals and scalloped decorative ovals. That I have added to with Petal pink Liquid pearls.

I cut the image out using Marianne D stamps die and inked the edges with walnut distress ink. I have used the bark and brick M-bossibilities for the wood grain effect on some Core'dinations paper that I then sanded slightly to bring out the embossing more. The brilliant leafy swirl is from Spellbinders foliage 2 die. The sentiment is from Personal Impressions double sayings and the gems are from my stash.

Seeing Red at Crafts and Me

This week at Crafts and Me we would like you to use red in any shade you like and there will be the chance to win a surprise set of Christmas goodies from Crafts and Me.

For my card I have used one of the new images that will be available in the Crafts and Me store very soon :D

For the back ground I thought I would have a play and make my own with some of the yummy new Distress inks. I have used Scattered straw then Festive berries and then Gathered tigs and put them on with my Deamweaver brushes. To finish it off I used some artistic flourish stamps from inkadinkado and stamped them in smokey grey versa randomly over the top. The beautiful velvet ribbon is from Crafts and Me and the gold card and red gems are from my stash.

Polar bear love

How cute is this little guy!?! I just LOVE him and to add to what you can see I have added a wobbler to his head so he really moves :D You can get your hands on him in my store HERE. He was so easy to colour and to give you an idea of size he is on a 5 x 5 card. The beautiful frame die that I have used you can also get in my store it is from Lea - bilities and is HERE. I have inked through the dies as well to give it a bit of colour and for my inking I used Dreamweaver brushes and Salty Ocean distress ink. I thought I would add a bit of sparkle so put some Glamour dust on to I hope look a bit like snow. The paper I have used is from the Dovecraft back to basics modern pack and then to finish it off I added some clear gems for a bit more sparkle.
