Sketch Saturday - sketch #14

This is the first card I have had a chance to make this week due to work getting in the way. It is inspired by Sketch Saturdays - sketch number 14. I made it for my friends mother it was her 75th birthday yesterday. I have used one of the cats I have drawn based on my Kitten Ziggy. I will be giving it to her today I hope she likes it.

Sketch Saturday - sketch #13

These are a couple of my cards using the brilliant sketch from Sketch Saturday.

For this cute baby girl card I used this adorable Magnolia stamp, Polly craft backing papers pretty 3d topper sticker and some sparkly silver ribbon.

This is a christmas card using the same design. Here the "happy christmas" and snow flake are by papermania, backing paper is dove craft, the embossing is done using a cuttlebug embossing folder and the gorgeous stamp is from Hanglar and Stanglar.

This is such a great sketch I can see that there will be many more cards made from it yet.

Cute Card Thursday challenge 24 "Bright Colours"

These are my card for Cute Card Thursdays 24th challenge "Bright Colours". I have used a flamingo I have drawn and backing papers/ title I have made. The bright pink of a flamingo has always amazed me and I love the contrast with the turquoise.

ABC challenge - F for fairy

Everyone loves fairies and I can not resist the beautiful art work of Caron Vinson. Again I have used papermania backing papers and embellishments silver peel off boarder around this thoughtful fairy and a bit of silky green ribbon for extra texture.

A spoonfull of sugar challenge - sketch # 13

This is my idea for a spoonfull of sugars challenge sketch #13. This time I have gone for a tilda stamp (I just LOVE them) the papers are from the sparkly sweet paper pad some stick on faux gems and a for you title in the bottom left by do craft / paper mania. I hope you like it

Trina's Timeless Treasures Blog Candy Sketch

Trina on her Trina's Timeless Treasures Blog. Has got some amazing blog candy up for grabs for using her brilliant sketch. This is my entry. I have used paper mania backing papers, this cute litle Hanglar and Stanglar stamp, a litle lobster charm attached with a jump loop, a silver best wishes peel off and some dark blue ribbon from my stash.

House Mouse Monday Challenge - "New"

This is my card for the first house mouse challenge the theme for the challenge "New". So I though I would make it for new friends as hopefully that is what the blog will mean, meeting new people. I have used as well as the super cute house mouse stamp the leaf backing from crafters companion a couple of brads and again for texture another cuttlebug embossing folder on the purple card. Hope you like it I can't wait for the next challenge.

I have use polly crafty topper and backing papers and then to add extra texture I have used a cuttlebug embossing folder on some green card.

Penny Black Saturday challenge

This is my first entry to a blog challenge the challenge is on Penny Black Saturday Challenge and this time the challenge is ribbon. I have used this really cute Penny Black mouse stamp, a shiny star brad some gorgeous paterned ribbon from my craft stash and in fitting with the prize Polly Craft backing papers!

These are some of the colourfull charm style sets I have been making I have been making them in a whole range of colours and themes to match peoples out fits or a theme so that they match the person like I have had requests for angel and elephant sets amoung others.

I would love to know what people think so please leave me a post.

The jewellery making led to the card making as I then wanted to make cards to display and sell with the jewellery so people could buy all they needed ready to give........but I kind of got hooked on the whole scrap booking card making thing and designing my own toppers and backing papers to play with.

My first ever post

WOW.........

so here I go my first little toe into the waters of blogging. I have decided to set my sef up as I have been so impressed and insipred by what all you amazing crafty people are doing.

I am really very new to crafting and love lots of different types of crafting but at the moment my vices are card making and jewellery making. I have been selling bits and pieces at my work and this will give me a way of seeing what true crafter think of what I am doing.

Well thats all for now as I am going to try and work out how to up load some pics of some bits I have made so far........
