More stampin' up creations

******Do you fancy a crafty get away? I am arranging one for October this year and there are still spaces. Click HERE for details******

What can I say I just can't stop playing with these stampin' up sets. This first one is a mans birthday card. I always struggle with mens cards but I am quite happy with this one and it was mega quick to do. I used soft suede to ink around the card and the sentiment. The sentiment it's self is from the Happiest Birthday wishes set. I stamped it in momento black. The paper is from an old set that I can not remember the name of. I used a stampin' up scalloped trim border punch then added pearls to it.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Anything Goes - Boys to men
Creative Craft - Boys will be boys

For this second card I have used a new technique for me which is coulouring parts of the stamp in different colours. I had tried it before with various other companies markers but never got a good result. For this card I used stampin' up markers which not only match their ink pads perfectly but also worked so well this could turn into my new favourite technique. I thought they might dry out before I had finished colouring as that was what had happened to me in the past but these are amazing. The colours I used for this one are pear pizzazz and poppy parade I brought them as the whole set as it works out cheaper and I can see that I am going to have to get them all :D The pens have a brush end that I used for the stamp and a thin end that I used to draw the stitching around the image. I also slightly decoupaged the image just to make it more 3D. The stamp set I have used for this card is Fresh Vintage that you can get free if you spend £45 or more which I think is a total bargain.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Top tip tuesday - Stitching

If you want to get any of the stampin' up stuff if you order through me you will only have to pay £1 postage rather than the normal £4.95. Also at the moment until the 31st of March if you spend more than £45 you get a free Sale - a - bration stamp set of your choice. I will get it ordered for you and post it out to you. For a little bit more I can even send it to you if you live outside of the UK.
