Hop with Crafts and Me

Crafts and Me Challenges recently celebrated their 1st Anniversary and we have also taken on some new teamies which now includes a Digital Design Team plus new faces also on the Rockin' Rubbah team so we thought we'd celebrate with a little blog hop!

We have goodies hidden on various teamies blogs so I hope you'll leave them all a nice comment along the way :)

If you've arrived from VIX'S BLOG you're on the right track! If not, you need to start at the Crafts and Me Challenge blog, click HERE to go to the start!

We're running the hop from 1st April to Midnight (GMT) 15th April so a whole 2 weeks to play along. You need to collect the letters to form a phrase and leave comments on each individual stop to be eligible for the individual prizes plus the grand prize. Once you have collected all the letters leave a comment on the Crafts and Me shop blog hop post.

My letter for you is A

For my card I have used the brilliant Heart on my sleeve stamp from the Molly Harrison range at Crafts and me. I have coloured her with a mix of promarkers and sakura stardust pens so she sparkles. The hair on these stamps is just so much fun to colour I have to tell you they are totally addictive. I wanted the image to speak for itself so have not used any DP. I inked round the edge of every layer with black to make them stand out a bit more then used the dotty Magnolia border stamp to add a little something to the blue card stock. To finish it off put on the little heart pearls on.

Thanks for coming to visit, don't forget to leave me a comment and hop on over to MINA'S BLOG

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Whoopsi daisy - Glitz and glitter
Crafty Amigo - Favorite stamp
Guylou's Inimitability - Polka dots

Hi Amy, what a stunning card. Love the stamp, can't wait to try it out.

WHat a gorgeous image! Love the multi-tonal hair and glitter accents. I agree that the plain layers are needed to make the image pop (and the dotty background on the blue layer is just enough to make it stand out without overpowering the pic)

Amy, what a beautiful card. I know what you mean about some images needing to do the talking and therefore not needing much embellishing. Thanks for sharing your lovely creation. I am off now to continue on the Blog Hop. Best wishes, Kym xxx
