Rock n' Roll 60's

It is Friday which means it is time for a new challenge at Stampin' for the weekend ! This week you have to make a card inspired by the title of one of the following 3 songs
  1. Mr Postman
  2. Whiter shade of pale
  3. Time of the season
There is an amazing prize this week from Simon Say's Stamp a $25 gift voucher.

Please have a look at the rest of the incredibly talented DT's blogs and the brilliant Sandie is again our guest designer.

I could not decide which one to go for as they all got my brain working so I made one for each song :)

Mr Postman

Paper is from crafters companion Christmas cute companions disc. The Tilda I have coloured with promarkers and then given her a letter to go in her hand. It is hard to tell from this pic but the background is from my craft studios world of water colour disc and is decoupaged.

Whiter shade of pale
This card was very quick to make the stamp is from the greetings farm and I have thought I should give my promarkers a rest so coloured it with water colour pencils. The sentiment is from DCWV and the one paper I used is from papermania. I kept it simple as I feel that sympathy cards should be.

Time of the season
For this one the robin is from The greetings farm "Vintage birds" set and I have coloured him with a mix of sakura stardust pens and pro markers. The sentiment came free with a magazine last Christmas and the papers are from Paper cellar.

I can't wait to see what all you super talented people come up with for these and I hope you have as much fun as I did.

Wow these are all gorgeous Amy and my favourite has to be your first one with all the beautiful decoupage which is a gorgeous background for Tilda. Your colouring is amazing and you have put us all to shame by creating "THREE" very beautiful DT cards.
Have a lovely weekend.

Well Amy, all three cards are wonderful, your interpretations are all so creative. I love that wee bird on your Time of the Season as it looks like it's glazed. And what a great idea to put a letter in Tilda's hand, she really does look like she's running down to the post box, your coloring is fabulous on them all too, and your whiter shade of pale card is very lovely and a great sentiment for it. Hope you never have to use the card.
hugs

Hi Amy,
All your cards are perfect for the themes but I especially like the first one. Tilda looks amazing running out of the card with her mail. I love the background you've created, it's a perfect little scene.
The bird on the Christmas card is so cute and I love the papers.
I too hope you won't need the sympathy card but I suppose it's a good idea to have one made, the only time I ever needed one I was too upset to craft.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs

Hello Amy! All three cards are beautiful! I love the effect you produced on the Tilda card, she looks like she's coming out of the card. And I love the fabulous background. The other two cards are gorgeous, too. You must be very well organized when you were able to make three cards. :)

Have a lovely weekend
