Out with the old and in with the new

******Do you fancy a crafty get away? I am arranging one for October this year and there are still spaces. Click HERE for details******

I have a couple of cards and some photo's for you today :D My cards are both celebrating new beginings of different kinds and then the photo's are me trying to learn my way round my gorgeous new camera so it is all about the new for me today.
The first card was so simple to make and I really like it. The little house and the sentiment are from The Greetings Farm and then I coloured the house with promarkers. The row of tree's are mega simple as they are a roller stamp from Stampin' Up called Funky forest and I use lucky limeade ink that is also from stampin' up.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
C.R.A.F.T. - New house
DRS design - CAS

This second card is for a new baby and I have to say I am still in love with this fox and friends stampin' up stamp set it is just so quick and easy to use. I inked the little whale from the set in not quite navy stampin' up ink and then mounted it on 2 different coloured blue papers that I punched the bottom edge of with stampin' Up's scallop trim border. The sentiment is from a personal Impressions set and the ribbon is from Papermania. To finish it off I have just done a dotty border round the card.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Speedy fox and friends - CAS

As I said before I also have some pictures to share with you today. I managed to meet up with my good friend Natalie the other day and we both have nice cameras that we want to learn more about how to use so we thought we would try and teach ourselves. Natalie has some adorable chickens so we decided that they would be our subjects for the day. These are my favourite ones that I took.....

Thank you for great day Natalie :D

If you would like to get any Stampin’ Up products I can order them for you and you only have to pay £1 for postage rather than the normal £4.95. If you want to have a look at the current Stampin' Up catalogues you can see them all HERE
