It it that time of the week again and time for the second challenge over at Karen's Doodles UK! Thank you to everyone who took part in our first ever challenge and don't forget to check the blog to see if you are a winner.
This week the theme is Easter and remember you can make whatever you like that is Easter related and used one of Karen's gorgeous images ( you can find them all HERE) .
For my card I decided to have a go at a shaker card for the first time and I have to say it was a lot of fun though I need to get some thinner foam tape as the one I have got I had to cut in half to use for this.
The image is Bunny girl and I think she is just soooo cute. I have coloured her with a mix of promarkers and sakura stardust pens so she sparkles in case all the glitter and sequins are not sparkly enough :D
I have kept the rest of the card very simple as I wanted the focus to be on the shaker. The dp is actually a printed card blank from Papermania that I cut up. I have edged the shiny brown card stock with this amazing Martha Stewart punch I got from Crafts and me and added Peel off gold borders and some gems from my stash to finish it off.
Make sure you check out all the rest of the DT's creations as they have made some amazing things to inspire you.
I am also entering this for this weeks A spoon full of Sugar challenge as they also want you to use an Easter theme.
