70's Rock n' Roll

It is that time of the week again, time for another challenge from Stampin' for the weekend!!
Once again we have three song titles to choose from based on your own interpretation of the song title. And here they are

  • Three Times a Lady - Commodores
  • Tangled Up in Blue - Bob Dylan
  • Seasons in the Sun - Terry Jacks

This week our sponsor is Fred she said

Tracey is offering a $25 gift voucher to the lucky winner

The first title that jumped out at me was "Seasons in the sun" I have been meaning to make up some scrapbook pages for a holiday that our friend Mark kindly paid for me and my better half to go on for ages now and this seemed like a good reason to start it. I used this digi scrap kit to put my 2 pages together.

Then I had an idea for "Tangled up in blue" that I just could not resist making. The papers are from Designers extreme vol

II
and the cute image is Arthur from Digistamp boutique I have coloured him with promarkers and put him on foam pads so he stands out. The flowers, brads and ribbons are from my stash.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's blogs as they have some amazing creations to inspire you again this week.

Thanks for your comments Amy, the colouring on mine this week is awful lol! The surface of the card must be plastic coated (it said smooth like satin...) as the copics just refuse to blend, bit like when you scribble on acetate.

I covered it with souffle pens :D Wont be using that card again lol!

PS... Love your work, I dont get any time to scrap anymore but hopefully now the little one has found her feet and is giving me a bit of peace I can drag my albums back out again!
