Cute Card Thursdays challenge - Sparkly

This is a Birthday card I have made for my sister (yes they are twins) she is called Nicola. I have used This lovely bunny stamp by House mouse and sparkly paper and gems.

Dutch Dare Challenge - card for a boy/man

This is a birthday card I have made for my little brother Sam. Well I guess he is not so little anymore as he will be 20 on Sunday but he is 20 going on 12!

I love this stamp and enjoyed my paper piecing for last weeks house mouse challenge so thought I would play again.

Friday Sketcher and ABC challenge

This card fits 2 challenges The layout is the wonderful sketch #20 on Friday Sketcher and the little sparkly gems means it also works for ABC's J- for jewels. The beautiful fairy is another of Caron Vinson's amazing collection and I will be putting on more cards using them soon as have got completely hooked on them.

My time to craft and Spoon full of sugar and Dutch dare challenges

This card fits into a massive 3 challenges this week. A Spoon full of sugars "So Charming" challenge as I have used the cute little star charm, My time to crafts "blue" challenge and Dutch dares no square edges. I have used hand squeezed PVA for the glitter boarder around the edge as I like the way that it is not symmetrical and the lovely tilda in her big winter coat and the log again a magnolia stamp this one came from the fall stamp club. I also got to play with my new xcut shape cutter for this one and can see that I will be using them a lot from now on.

Finally finished pillow for polly crafts competition

Ok so it has taken me a lot longer than I thought it would and am putting this on having just finished a night shift and hoping I am not too late. I think the idea is good but would look a hundred times better if I was better at sewing

House Mouse and Sketch Saturday Challenges

This card fits into two challenges this week. The layout is the challenge from sketch Saturday and the stamp is this cute little house mouse which I have done some paper piecing with.

Funky Fairy Challenge # 33

The layout is the challenge from Fukny Fairy and I have taken the chance to use my new magnolia stamp club stamps that arrived on my door step 2 days ago. I love them it is the first stamp club I have gone in for and as soon as I saw them I signed up for the next one thy are so cute and such good value!

As for the rest of this card I further challenged myself by not using any patterned papers to giveit some texture I have again used a cuttle bug embossing folder on the orange card. Just to finish it off I have used the cute little scrable tiles for the sentiment (I must use them more).

Cute Card Thursdays challenge - cats and dogs

This is my entry to Cute Card Thursdays cats and dogs. I have used a cat I have drawn myself (Ziggy) and my own backing papers I have made to go with it. Hope you like it.

I am trying to keep making at the same time as sewing (I got more black thread today yippee!!!!)

Polly Craft Fabric challenge

This challenge has really inspired me I have got 2 items to put on here but one is not finnished yet and may take me a while (for a start I need more supplies)

This is the first item a book mark I have used a large piece of lace and some funky thread to finninsh it of and the little bear and backing paper is of course from the amazing polly craft range

Bellow is a picture of the back where I have just used more backing paper and a simple rub on

Ok so I may have bitten off more than I can chew here.....

My second item is a hand stiched pillow case using polly craftys gorgous panda and the flower that she comes with.

This is how I started tracing an image on to tracing paper with a special iron on pencil. Then transfering them with the use of my iron on to the pillow case.

This picture bellow shows how far I have got so far as you can see still quite bit to go I am quite please with what I have stitched so far as I am not really very good with a needle and thread but think this will look really cute when it is done...... Will update with the finnished picture when I can but must get to shops for more black thread before can do any more.
